We all met online, this motley crew, with a photographic passion as our base. We blew off steam together, we chatted about the silly, we exchanged ideas about marketing + gear, we delved into the difficult, we held one another’s virtual hands during the shaky times, we screamed out from the side lines like cheerleaders, we howled out at the pain some experienced, we cried, we wined, we dined, we whined, we met, we loved, we hurt, we cared, we were blessed, we giggled, we snorted, we thudded, we hugged. It truly is a haven.
We are friends. In this crazy mixed up world, we are friends. And now, two of our very own are a family. They set their friendship to music, they danced into one another’s hearts. They are here to show us all what true love looks like, feels like, how it acts, how it honors, how it respects, how it embraces with a power beyond knowledge.
Their journey to get to this point, oh they could (and should) write a book. Maybe one day you’ll be lucky enough to hear it. I’m here to show my version of the visual story of their love coming together, of the stepping off point to the new chapter in their life.
Vanessa + Rick, I believe we are all here on this earth for a reason. That we have hands made for holding, we have arms made for hugging, we have hearts that can know and understand and survive so very much. I am so glad the universe got it right this time. To the both of you, Welcome Home. <3 Much much love
